About this phone:
Though the T36m is a pretty well-known prototype, there are probably not
more than a dozen units in Europe. For sure a lot more have been built
but most of them have been destroyed. Strangely enough the official
press photos only show a yellow T36m but most of all units I know are
classic blue. There is only one more known yellow T36m beside my one.
Since the T36m was already mentioned on compatibility lists of desktop
chargers I guess it was close to be released. However, the firmware was
far from being final: Most untis freeze in several menu options and many
of them are not able to send or receive SMS. The phonebook doesn't work
properly and the firmware only support old 5V simcards.
On the other hand the screen animations are real eyecatchers in market
contrast to the boring menu of the later T39: The main menu icons slide
and resize and the screen saver srolls slowly.

more reason to make this phone even more valuable and collectable is,
there is still an original warranty seal. That means this is a virgin
phone :
Phone Condition
The
phone still in good condition, with minor visible tear & wear.
Minor scratches at the back of the metal frame too. Check the photos
for details.
Since the firmware is not a final version, so most of
the functions are not working, such as phonebook, sms and bluetooth are
not working. But making calls is working normally.
No warranty or whatsoever is provided for this prototype phone!
